Kairos – our Vision and Mission

The Christian volunteers of Kairos Prison Ministry have been called by God to share the love and forgiveness of Christ with those incarcerated. Kairos has a strategy to bring positive and negative leaders to a 3½‐day program where they will receive, often for the first time, that love and forgiveness. Kairos seeks to develop a Christian community inside the prison through a structured program of talks, meditations, chapel visits, music, and a lot of listening and loving.  Kairos volunteers are committed to returning to the prison on a regular basis to assist in developing the ongoing Christian community.

 The Kairos Vision
A community spiritually freed from the effects of imprisonment reaching all impacted by incarceration,  through the love, hope, and faith found in Jesus Christ.

The Kairos Mission
The mission of the Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities.
